Gryphon has combined the strength and durability of their six castered steel uni-frame with the warmth and dependability of select northern maple shelving.
Construction Specifications for Wooden Book Trucks
- Casters
- Six non-marking grey rubber casters equipped with open roller bearings, sealed double ball bearing raceways, each with a 250 pound capacity.
- All casters attached with 5/16" zinc plated carriage bolts, nuts and lock washers.
- Center casters are staggered by a 3/16" steel shim.
- Frame
- Frame made of 1" cold roll square tubing, 0.83 wall thickness.
- Completely Metal Inert Gas welded.
- Dimensions are 16" x 32" x 42".
- Shelves
- Shelves are made of 1" maple veneer core plywood c/w solid maple edging.
- All shelves supported by 1/4" x 20" zinc plated truss rods and attached to frame with 1/4" x 20" x 1 1/2" zinc plated bolts.
- Load capacity 200 lbs per shelf.
- Finish
- All shelves are covered in a three part stain and lacquer institutional grade finish.
- A choice of two stains is available: Oak or Mahogany.
