GRYPHON INDUSTRIES

Established in 1988 Gryphon Industries introduced the six castered book truck to North American libraries in 1990.

Our design represents the culmination of months of consultation with librarians, prototype trials and production engineering.  The resulting book trucks are the strongest and most maneuverable in the world.

If you only need one book truck, the first Gryphon you buy will also be your last.

In keeping with the standards set forth by the Heralds of England, our coat of arms represents the lineage of the principals of the corporation.

The standard of Louis VI of France (golden Fleur-De-Lis on the blue background) is surmounted by the standard of Wales (red dragon).

Both standards are incorporated into a shield which is supported by two male Gryphons (without wings) and topped with the industrious Canadian Beaver.

The coat of arms is supported by the Latin motto "Sui Generis Virtute Et Labore", which translates to "In its' own class by virtue of its' labours".
